:mjlol: this idiot keeps moving the goal post. So now we go from having safer neighborhoods by getting rid of criminals and corrupt officers to me getting harassed by the police? As if corrupt black officers don't bother other blacks people everyday?

Like I said nikka, you in McDonough with all the safe white people, that's where you ran off too, I'm still a DeKalb resident, let me worry about my people that's still out here and we will clean up the mess by getting rid of your beloved criminals.
I'm not moving the goal post. Police brutality and gentrification go with each other. You will see an uptick in harassment when your white mommy and daddy continue coming to town and the black police force is replaced with young white Iraq vets. You tried to say Dekalb was a majority white county in which it isn't. You thumbed your nose at less fortunate black people that don't own homes and now you're saying I ran off to McDonough with the safe white folks when McDonough is majority black. You're a fukking dumb ass and you don't know what your talking about.

Nicca shut the fukk up, I did not say Dekalb was majority white. I said NORTH Dekalb already has a lot of white people. Learn to read/comprehend you dumb ass Nicca. I didn't thumb my nose down at less fortunate black, I said MY family own our shyt so we aren't getting pushed out of no where. You ASSUMED everyone in Dekalb county is renting and poor like a dumbass nicca would. Again, concern yourself with the issues of Safe McDonough, let the Dekalb residents handle theirs.

Here is one of the snitche- throughout the indictment they refer to "M.P' as one one of the snitches.

#77 in the indictment talks about GD's going to Wings cafe and killing 3 crips- this is the story it happened in Macon, GA and the only suspect arrested at the time in 2012 was "Markques Patterson" im guessing this dude just gave it all up, then they let him go so he could get all the detailed shyt you see in the indictment

Three dead, three wounded, five jailed, few answers

Like most weekend evenings, the crowd descended on Wings Cafe on Dec. 12 for their tastes of Macon nightlife, cocktails and fun with friends.

But this wasn't an ordinary night. Some went to the nightclub with bad intentions.

Bibb County Sheriff David Davis called it a gang fight. Gunfire erupted in the club and when the smoke cleared, three were dead, three wounded and five arrested.

One of the victims died days after the shooting and the sheriff's office spent the week rounding up suspects.

Some families are now preparing to bury loved ones days before Christmas. Some are spending the holidays behind bars, while others heal from gunshot wounds.

The entire community is left trying to figure out what went wrong and how can this be prevented from happening again.

As the events from that disturbing night continued to unfold throughout the week -- death announcements, another arrest made and court appearances -- 13WMAZ provided continued coverage and updates. SEE BELOW

UPDATE: Friday, 2:06 P.M.: Bond denied for 5th Wings Cafe suspect

Markques Patterson, the fifth suspect arrested in the Wings Cafe shooting was denied bond in Bibb County court today. He is charged with two counts of murder, one count of participating in criminal street gang activity and five counts of aggravated assault, according to a sheriff's office news release.

After the hearing, Bradley sent the following statement to 13WMAZ:

"Mr. Patterson was entering the Wings Cafe with friends when he was shot without warning by another individual. Any actions he took after being shot were solely in self defense. As Mr. Patterson suffered a gunshot wound to the side in the altercation. To date, he has received no medical treatment at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, which I find troubling. As to the gang activity allegations, we will be investigating the state's claims, but lately it seems that according to our district attorney's office, "gang activity" means any activity involving two or more young black men."

We asked District Attorney David Cooke to respond and he did saying:

"To get a gang conviction, we have to have a unanimous verdict, with a jury of this community's citizens. So far, they've agreed with us 100 percent of the time. We haven't lost a gang case since this initiative started."

Sheriff David Davis sent us a response to complaints from Markquez Patterson's lawyer, about medical care at the jail.

The sheriff said in part:

"Mr. Patterson was medically screened when he was booked into the Bibb County Jail yesterday. There was nothing found to prevent him from being assigned to the inmate housing area. The medical staff will monitor him to ensure his continued well-being while in our jail."

Patterson has a commitment hearing scheduled for January 2nd.

According to Bibb coroner Leon Jones, a third victim has died in the Wings Cafe shooting. He is Derrick Richone Jackson.

Jones says Jackson died Thursday night at the Medical Center Navicent of his injuries in the shooting last week at Wings Cafe on Bloomfield Road. Two others, Cory Hollingshed, 25, and George Henley, 34, both of Macon, were also killed in the shooting. Three others were wounded.

According to Randy Gonzales with the Bibb Sheriff's Office, the office of the District Attorney will be consulted to see which of the five men already arrested will now face additional murder charges. Five men currently face two counts of murder.

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. – A former DeKalb County Police officer admitted to killing people while serving as a hitman for a gang, according to an indictment unsealed on Wednesday.

Vancito Gumbs was among 32 alleged gang members indicted on federal racketeering charges in Georgia as part of a three-year investigation. Another indictment unsealed in Memphis, Tenn. charged another 16 alleged Gangster Disciple members, authorities said.

The defendants in the Georgia indictment are accused of murder, attempted murder, robbery, extortion and arson as well as drug trafficking and financial fraud.

According to U.S. Attorney John Horn, several defendants indicted in Georgia are national leaders of the Gangster Disciples gang.

Horn said the violent gang began in Chicago in the 1970s, and now operates as a massive criminal enterprise in 24 states -- with a large presence in Georgia.

Members of the gang are accused of holding positions in the criminal enterprise in numerous states, including Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Texas, Indiana and South Carolina. Horn said arrests also occurred in cities in eight states.

The indictment provides numerous details of the alleged gang activities, including drug dealing, disputes with other gangs and prostitution. (Watch the full news conference)

According to Horn, the gang is responsible for at least 10 murders, 12 attempted murders and numerous other crimes in the metro Atlanta area in the last few years.

Gang members were allegedly behind the extortion of rap artists. Authorities said the artists were forced to become affiliated with the gang.

The defendants are also accused of trafficking heroin, cocaine and methamphetamine as well credit card fraud.

The indictment alleges that each member of the gang agreed that each would commit at least two acts of racketeering as they conducted gang business.

At times, gang members ordered juveniles to commit crimes, including murder, robbery and drug trafficking, the indictment said. (Read the indictment below)

The indictment alleges specific overt acts allegedly committed by the gang, including a July 2011 shooting and murder in a drug deal that went bad. In another instance, a 17-year-old was shot for wearing the wrong t-shirt.

The indictment also details a shooting at a bar in Macon, Ga. that left three people dead.

The suspects were sometimes engaged in community fundraising while at the same time committing acts of crime, Horn said. One recruit was killed for refusing to attend a community clean-up.

According to Horn, 30 of the 32 indicted have been taken into custody. The Georgia indictment charges individuals in Atlanta, Decatur, Stone Mountain, Marietta, Valdosta and Macon, as well as other cities across the country. Two charged remain at large.

The suspects could face life in prison on the federal charges. Many of them also face state cahrges.

DEKALB COUNTY POLICE OFFICER AMONG THOSE INDICTED

According to the indictment, Vancito Gumbs was a DeKalb County Police officer while a member of the Gangster Disciples.

The indictment alleges that another defendant, Kevin Clayton, bragged that the gang had infiltrated police departments and the parole office.

In August 2015, Gumbs allegedly admitted that he had killed people while acting as a hitman for the gang.

That fall, Gumbs is accused of traveling with Clayton to "take care of GD business."

Around Oct. 1, 2015, Gumbs allegedly gave information about a police investigation of a shooting to Clayton.

Gumbs also warned Clayton to stay away from a sports bar that police were raiding in October 2015, the indictment said.

Around that same time, Gumbs allegedly brought Clayton a gun.

Horn said that Gumbs resigned in October 2015 after an investigation.

Gumbs was among those arraigned before Judge Janet King on Wednesday.
