I don't even think that's a controversial thing to say tbh because she herself has talked about having body image and self esteem issues. A lot of the women have been open about past/present insecurities. Bianca's talked about her bulimia, Rhea used to cut herself, Dana's had struggles, Io had talked about lacking confidence in her appearance. It's obvious all the comments about her looking like Ric and looking like a man took their toll. It's a rough industry for women because folks are really hard on them if they don't meet certain standards. Even women who are objectively beautiful get picked apart. You see how Cornette be going in on Jade and I've seen posts on other forums saying Maryse has lost her looks or calling Naomi the ugliest Diva ever.

Dave doesn't do himself favors when he speaks on this stuff cause he doesn't phrase things right but he's not entirely wrong for pointing out that water is wet. Charlotte isn't comfortable with her looks and that's not a secret.
