I speak with terron from time to time, real cool dude. Like i told dude, wwe wouldn't do him any justice. Shuck and jiving while jobbing to every star just to get dropped because black wrestlers outside if a few are just nothing but c00ning cannon fodder. He's has a good following on youtube, plus he's doing Olympic lifting, hopefully he sticks with this and go professional, he is already with Reebok and that would make his bread go all the way up.

:mjcry: so happy for my guy

You're a good friend breh

He definitely would've lost his Reebok deal if he joined the WWE.

Glad you gave him the real.

Real talk, if you not the rock or one of his Samoan family heritage members. I would never go to the WWE or look at them as a viable employment option.

I think a lot of ex athletes just don't have a backup plan. They're lured by the big stage, the physicality and the spectacle of wrestling. Plus I'm sure that they exaggerate earning potential when they sign talent.
That and a lot of them are labeled as injury risks in the league and teams pass on them or things like that so there's not that many moves they can make once that happens

If you're in that position going there would be a good move I guess if youre looking to get a paycheck to keep performing at a sort of competitive level

That or the Arena League or the Big 3 :flabbynsick:

Smart dude

If Vince was smart he would realize that wrestlers getting themselves over with their independent projects would just make his brand bigger but he's not letting go of his old school thinking

Beckham would have given up all his cash streams to just be a midcarder who gets booked horribly and gets released with little fan fare

You got to remember you are not a start unless he says so.

I would think wwe would be willing to offer a guy with 400,000 followers and a famous family member a better deal. In an industry where popularity is money. It also sucks that big business mindsets limits creativity, they basically told dude you can’t use us to market your business unless we are in control of it. Once they sign up up all the top Indy talent they are going to be hurting for new guys because wwe isn’t the only option for fitness freaks to make money

This is Vince’s biggest problem. His only goal in this sense besides push Roman as the top guy is make sure nobody else can become a top star and if they get over someplace else, offer enough so they’ll sign and give him complete control and then waste them creatively until he kills their heat. Then after a while they leave and everyone remembers them for a run with the E that flopped hard.

He's smart, made the right choice.

It's guys like Brock, Kurt that are prime fodder for the WWE. End of the line on sports with no real earning potential beyond maybe coaching. For them, WWE is a no brainer chance.

In my opinion they lose out on guys like coach and rock and others who reach their peak with wwe and have to completely distance themselves from the product to make any more money instead they should let them do joint ventures it brings eyes from the other world that would never care

He made the right decision. It's a shame that they are considered independent contractors but the company wants to attach their name to someone else projects and try to take some of the profit when they did it without them. Not to mention his earning potential would have been limited and there's a glass ceiling for black wrestlers in that company.
