Beckham caught it with three fingers, b. Three.

That doesn't take away from the Ohio State catch, but it's simply not a better catch than OBJ's. That doesn't make the Ohio State dude's catch not amazing, but it's a 9.5 to OBJ's perfect 10.
A one handed catch is a one handed catch b. three fingers or not and the same type of body control. This ain't the Olympics lol but I see what your doing though but acting like its not even a debate can't roll with that.

Just before that EPIC catch, NBC showed ODB practicing his one hand grabs, pregame:ohhh:

...then, the kid comes thru and Snoop Dogg the building in primetime:lawd:
Then y'all caught ( that L). Somebody photoshop that L onto that catch. I hate to do it because Ive been a fan of Beckham before most of y'all even knew he existed but y'all did lose.

Smith's catch was great no doubt. But I think he had better body positioning to make the catch, making the degree of difficulty less, and it looks like he had his whole hand to make the catch. Plus he wasn't mugged by the defender and didn't have to tightrope the sideline

Devin Smith was running full speed, jumped, spinned in mid air to catch a bullet pass by Braxton Miller.

ODB was on the ground and caught a soft floating pass from Eli.

No way it's better than Devin Smith. Braxton Miller pass was even behind him for Christ sake. Which is why he had to spin in mid air to catch it behind him.

Also let's not forget that the football is bigger in college than the NFL.

This is where you start exposing yourself. There ain't no such thing as a soft 43 yard pass.

nikka an object loses speed the farther it goes, when thrown forward in the air. :what: nikka did you study physics in grade school? :dahell:

Hopkins had one but Beck was for a TD

This is more impressive because it's way harder to catch an object while not having your feet on the ground. And it was thrown way behind him.

These damn gloves need to outlawed tho. :camby:It like having stickim on your hands.

If the object is running in a straight line that is true. If a ball is thrown 20 ft in the air and has to come back down it's gaining velocity on the way back down hence the shape of a football.

Why do you think NFL QB's have to throw passes that far up in the air in the first place? :dahell:

You think they can just throw a line drive bullet 43 yards? :dahell:

You see how his arm kicks back the second the ball hits his hand, velocity breh.

But you going to be "that nikka" so talking to you is pointless :umad:

Even with the ball coming back down, it still lost a lot of speed in the air. Distance doesn't speed up an object. :what:

You know it's hard to catch a short pass than a longer pass don't you. :what:

His are was already learn back :what:.
