@Gil Scott-Heroin nothing I said was a lie. You literally said something in the prediction thread, then changed it up again, then moved the goalpost again and created a stupid thread during the playoffs to move the goalpost again.

Make your prediction right now and you better not change it and yes, I will neg you for the neg.
@#1 pick these are all the 14/15 prediction/preview-related threads:

http://www.thecoli.com/threads/espn-nba-power-rankings-2014-2015.253194/

In none of those threads did I make a prediction on the Hawks' season. An explanation is in order for all these lies you've been telling. :mjpls:

except Klay is a better shooter and a great defender

THJR is one of the worst defenders in the league and a good shooter but not elite
Klay has a lot more open shots. Tim has one of the lowest open shot marks in the NBA via adv stats inc., 82games and SAP while DMC who we had last year as assisted on 99% of threes he shot last year. Give him a chance in a real system around very good players like Klay has been afforded. Tim is going to be straight, believe that.

I am not lying. I am simply not looking. There is a difference.
I didn't make a prediction on the Hawks' record/season and I certainly didn't change my projection throughout the season - you're either lying or you have me mixed up with another poster. Could this be a case of you getting me mixed up with somebody else, since ya'know yall Hawks stans are usually arguing with the rest of the board when it comes to your team and how good they are?

So just for the record, you believe THJR is actually comparable to Klay Thompson?

You think with the Hawks he can be on Klays level? :heh:

No, but I think he can be in that mold. Klay is an all star level player. THJr is a 6th level right now. Not a fair comparison. Just talking mold at this moment.

shyt is baffling tbh

At the end of the day Russy and KD won't be able to coexist, not after what Russy did in KD's absence.

That second fiddle shyt is not going to fly, no way no how.
Most overrated team in the NBA.

Didn't even make the playoffs last season and people expect a 6'9 small forward with foot issues to come back and take the league by storm?!

Let's talk Hawks first: the Hawks won 60 games last yr, were the 1 seed and bring roughly the same team back with the addition of Tiago Splitter and THJR to go with Dennis Schroeder (who could start in this league) off the bench. How can you not see us as the 1 seed when we were that just a season ago? Our backup front court is Splitter, Mike Scott & Mike Muscala. We added Edy Tavares (who is 7'3 but raw) as added depth as well. If you're unfamiliar with those names, those guys were big contributors for our 60 win team last yr and Muscala got better down the stretch

Not sure where the Miami hype is coming from, as I said earlier who really trusts a Deng/Wade/Bosh core to stay healthy and then even with them healthy last yr they still weren't very good. The Heat are deeper, yes, but I think you're reading names like Amare & Gerald Green and you're like :gladbron: but I'm not convinced they'll collectively be much better than they were last yr. My biggest concern is about Miami's shooting and defense...they'll be lucky to win 45 IMO

WAS is the same team they were last yr...losing Pierce is a bigger loss than they'll admit, he took all of their big shots last season and gave them an edge, not sure who will replace that now.

Cavs will be very good come the playoffs...they'll be mediocre to start with all the injuries to Kyrie & Shump, but they'll pick it up come late Dec/Jan when Kyrie gets back

Like I said before, you won't have five scorers and mismatches like last year. Splitter and Thabo are non threats. THJR is still trash until he proves other wise. Scott, Muscala, Tabares? You think thats better then Bosh, Whiteside, Stat, Birdman, and McRoberts? Only person with question marks on that squad is Wade. Like I said, delusional

That doesn't make any sense. If I claim I didn't say it, that means to me it doesn't exist - so how the fukk can I find something that doesn't exist?

:mindblown:

Why you dodging what he said? You know you moved the goal post all last year as we were winning. Or you saying you changed/deletes the posts?

You mean the guy who was the MVP of the league before he injured himself and put up one of the greatest individual seasons in the history of the league?

That would be the Bulls.

OKC had Westbrook miss 20 games, Durant miss 55, and Ibaka miss 18. The Bulls only managed 5 more wins and a 2.54 SRS compared OKC's 2.47, a team who had Telfair and PJ3 running Point Guard for them at the beginning of the season. Embarrassing.

Inb4 you brings up wack ass Taj and Flabby and sick Rose/Noah missing time.

Wack squad.

West
  1. Warriors -- Best team in the league.
  2. Spurs -- Second best team in the league and they got LMA in offseason
  3. Thunder -- KD/Westbrook/Ibaka alone is good enough. Basketball gods better bless KD with health
  4. Clippers -- Loved their offseason. Sneaky finals contender
  5. Rockets -- Could be ranked higher, Dwight missed a bunch of games last year
  6. Pelicans -- We pray to the alter of Anthony Davis; HC improvment, but worried about Jrue
  7. Grizzlies -- Quietly old. Conley contract year, though
  8. Jazz -- someone has to win the 8th seed.
East
  1. Cavaliers -- Bron, Love, Kyrie = no debate
  2. Raptors -- Love the signings of Carroll and Joesph. PF might be an issue, but Carroll small ball four
  3. Wizards -- Love Beal/Wall, think Otto Porter takes leap
  4. Bulls -- 4th, but should be better because coaching change
  5. Heat -- They have a 2 seed starting five, 8 seed bench, IMO.
  6. Hawks -- Should be better because the system, but betting on a ton of question marks fitting into the system. Splitter at C hurts some spacing, betting on THJ and Holiday to fill 3 and D roles
  7. Bucks -- Had the Pacers here, but forgot about the Bucks.
  8. Knicks --- :mjcry: Race for eight on deck. :salute: Zinger. Fish. Caldy and Grant running the show. Let's get it :bryan:(Someone link me to the MJ with the Knicks hat, brehs.)
