I'm 6'7 yoga and light weight but long pause squats below parallel when I was rehabbing from acl surgery are what helped me mobility wise.

So who wants to see my wack 315 single at top tonight

Looked good. For someone with such a long torso you seem to stay pretty upright doing high bar :obama: don't call it wack breh. You'd be a monster at the gyms here where people cut 185 short quite often.

Just a question tho, why so many steps back? I ask because I notice when I take more than two or so steps after unracking I have too much time to get the "oh shyt" overthinking going.

i need to work on my walk out :snoop:. my trainer who got me back in shape after my shoulder surgery used to rip me for that all the time. i know, i know. but you're right it leads to the overthinking. it has more to do w the positioning of my feet. i have to try to start w my feet more properly positioned before i lift the bar off the pins that way i don't need so many steps to get right.

thx for input though, as much as i've known of you from sohh and here your positive feedback means something me.

Knowing you mobility issues looked good to me :manny:. Like @puppetmaster said, compared to a lot of people that a lot of iron.

We all get down on ourselves but you lift heavier than most. Never mind the fact you have a career and growing family.

That gym music however :scust:

Thx breh appreciate the input.

And that's why I've always got my headphones in. Equinox caters to a different crowd lol. Same gym that asked me to drape towels over the safeties when I was doing rack pulls because the noise was "scaring people."

I dodged the big run, couldn't do it lol. Ended up heading home early yesterday morning and just doing a local neighborhood run. Pace is getting better though.

Saw the squat vid, you look a lot better than I thought you would no homo. I was expecting you to be like 300 lbs
Lol thanks breh. I actually am not very big on numbers I usually just go by how I look and feel. But I'm prob ideal at around 190 and I actually weighed myself over the weeks. 207 :lolbron: I've got some work to do.

Mon- power upper, #s around the same. Haven't really gone up in weight/reps but all around stamina through the whole workout is coming back for sure

Tues- off

Wed- power lower. #s mostly around same. Still busted a few struggle singles 315 back squat. Failed again at 405 pull off floor. But the bar is moving a few inches lol. Front squats are coming back too. Also think that's related to improved stamina through the whole workout.

Thurs- hosted 20+ people for thanksgiving so before I got down and dirty in kitchen I went for a nice run.

Fri- my buddy convinced me to take this boot camp class. Circuits on circuits on circuits. Calisthenics, the bike, goblet squats w kettle bells, rack chins, rower, burpees, box jumps. An hour straight. I was :dead:

This was taken at end of class. Pic doesn't even really do it justice but you can see how soaked my t shirt is. I could literally wring it out.

Gonna try and keep momentum going and hit hyp upper today.

That feel when you consider bagging on the gym but then force yourself to go and end up crushing your workout in an empty gym :wow:

I dropped the weight on most of the upper body hyp movements but increased the rep ranges to 12-16. Minimal rest. That pump brehs :whew:
