I read somewhere they died instantaneously
Facts..they need to wrap this shyt up and save them millions"All five people on board the vessel died on 18 June after it imploded about 90 minutes into a dive to view the famous 1912 shipwreck, which sits at a depth of 3,800m (12,500ft) in the north Atlantic."
"The agency is in the early stages of an investigation into the causes of the Titan disaster."
THE SUB WAS TRASH
yep fukk the rest of em but our fellow Coli breh aint even wanna go smh he aint deserve to dieRip to the kid
What kills me is there are other companies who made this exact journey previously and charged customers less. I mean…this entire thing was pointless. Why even dedicate anymore resources to this shyt? Everyone knew that thing was a ford fiesta with flippers, I don't get what they plan on learning from it's demise when there's already plenty of proven tech out there that could have done that trip safely and routinely already.
They used fukkin GLUE as a bonding agent between the rings and the hull.
I'm sure they didn't do any PMI inspections between dives as well.
All those different rates of expansion and torsional forces on a tube...a tube.
Yikes.
