nikkaz saw the title and just started naming madd Jay and Nas songs lol.

I never listened to Jay-Z but I love the doe was a good song.
And it set up the next song perfectly.

That's what makes albums great.
Every song hits at the right time and compliments each other.

I guarantee y'all can hear the intro in your head to what's beef when u think about I love the doe

I think @SunZoo had an interesting theory about how Eminem purposefully watered down the album so that he could take a break from music or something like that.

Not watered down but def a troll job, an album about not wanting to make an album, wouldn’t be the first time an artist has done so.

I love the dough is NOT a bad song. Wtf

That's the thing. I was gonna reply to this thread like soon as it dropped but then I started thinking about it too much lol

I think there are some songs that I personally feel have some off-putting elements that I know other people dont like or might not like if they hear it, but I still like those records and think they're good songs.

Nas - who killed it for example, or Dr. Knockboot..I get why people don't like em, but I do..same when Jarreu of rap came out, nikkas acted like it was audo acid, I love it.

Jay Z - I know what girls like...again, I get why it gets panned, but I never NOT liked that song lol

Using Em as an example, maybe the best one I can think of is Stronger Than I was

Aside from the grunting, the singing on this reminds me of Peter Cetera lol

And the fact that it seems to be a response to "Kim" from the woman in question's perspective. Some objectively bad elements from an otherwise cool/thoughtful record.

interesting:ohhh:

it would explain a lot tho about how an artist who was at his peak just a few years before could fall off so quickly

This has to be a top 5 most hated Nas song of all time, but I always vibed with it since day one. Salaam beat is unapologetically non-formulaic, the weed carriers sound threatening and Nas is Nas. You got a House In Virginia :ohhh:No need for the gunplay :sadcam:It's okay, cause you dyin anyway :damn:

I find Salaam Remi's work with Nas in general to be underrated. That man crafted a diamond album.

ok the beat is terrible

you wanna blame Nas and say he chose it go ahead

but you can never say he fails to bring it lyrically on any track
