Makes sense, he used to always be up at UCLA, everyone loves LA, and chargers are trash.

So is he checking in with Big U?:patrice:

I can't be mad at them for being AGGRESSIVE. I just don't know how they generate the cap room to sign all these guys.

Cleveland still has to pay him so his cost isn't high.

Broncos are still paying Von and the Browns paid a portion to OBJ. OBJ contract with LA is only for $1M I think.

Both are essentially 3-4 month rentals as they will be FA at the end of the season. Their window to win is now.

But I will say, this does go to show that players dont WILLINGLY want to play with Rodgers... if Brady had an opening left and asked OBJ... he would have been in Tampa.

Brady gets way more respect than Rodgers from other players
It sounds like McVay swung it. Rodgers is the reason Green Bay was in the lead most of the way but McVay hit Odell up and actually broke down how Stafford was gonna get him the ball and all the one on one opportunities that offense creates. Combine that with the spotlight of LA and he was sold.

Rodgers gets his respect but it's hard to overcome the reputation they have as a frugal franchise and being stuck in Wisconsin.

a decent post season run and they will restructure Stafford to keep Von. Andrew Whitworth will also probably retire and free up around 16m. They can also deal Woods in the off-season now that his cap hit isn’t going to be crazy and keep Odell if he seems worth it.

Until they beat more than just one good team, the Rams are complete frauds. They’ve had a painfully easy stat padding type schedule. They beat the Bucs, but lost to another contender in AZ. They were pummeled to hell by a Derrick Henry-less/mediocre secondary Titans. If they lose to the Packers (with Rodgers) and the Ravens, they’ll just be the NFC West Cowboys, where they’ll have a good inflated record, then lose immediately in the playoffs.
