Its not about doing favors, its about finessing to get what you want in the end vs being standoffish and taking the bigger L. This is some, "well he got clapped but at least he aint die like a p*ssy" shyt. This is chess not checkers breh.

Much of the GOP's anger stems from gestures like this, not any action. If Obama would capitulate a little bit and have some kind of dialogue with them I think they could come to a mutually beneficial compromise. Instead Obama would rather gamble and potentially give these lunatics a SC seat. It's not smart.

Cmon son. What part of the last seven years would make you even possibly think a friendly gesture would help with these knuckle dragers?

Especially in an election year when they are going to show out for their retarded base?

:russ: and here's Obama being two-faced again....

He doesn't want to attend Scalia's funral...but some how he found time to attend former Democratic Senator Robert KKK Byrd's funeral to "remember" and "honor" him. :francis:

"Democrat United States Senator Robert C. Byrd was a recruiter for the Klan while in his 20s and 30s, rising to the title of Kleagle and Exalted Cyclops of his local chapter. After leaving the group, Byrd spoke in favor of the Klan during his early political career. Though he claimed to have left the organization in 1943, Byrd wrote a letter in 1946 to the group's Imperial Wizard stating "The Klan is needed today as never before, and I am anxious to see its rebirth here in West Virginia." Byrd defended the Klan in his 1958 U.S. Senate campaign when he was 41 years old"

Alongside being an incredible racist, he was also the longest-serving US Senator, and the longest-serving Congressperson.
