they still won't pass it. These Republicans are the worst...don't care about the country at all.

All they are obsessed with is hurting Obama :snoop:

I just hate that the Demos wasted all that time they had when they could have pushed anything they wanted through...and now they are still paying the price for being scared to take responsibility & ownership of their legislation.

I used to be a big Obama critic but the story of his presidency is a gop that would do anything to stop him and a democratic party that just isn't about that life of actually getting shyt done. Obama is just better than his party.

I'm not sure there's any reason other than "Democrats are spineless cowards and are scared of Republicans".

Dudes had the House, Senate, and Presidency and were still letting the Republicans boss them around. :mindblown:
Bruh, you must not be familiar with Blue Dog democrats. :usure:

That's a tired excuse though. One of the aspects of a president's job is being the de facto leader of his party and in that role he has to have some capacity for negotiating within his own party to get the rank and file to go along with what he wants to get done.
Obama proved almost immediately that he had no clue how to work his own Party. The Blue Dogs in Congress having to be dragged along to support his plans was not some big surprise (or at least it shouldn't have been) so he should have shown some capacity to cajole, make promises to and if necessary outright bully those recalcitrant Dems to make them fall in line. I mean where was Biden's goofy ass? The only reason that bum was even picked as the VP was because of his supposedly masterful ability to gladhand other members of Congress. Yet he didn't do shyt and as a result Obama was made to look weak and that weakness steamrolled until we are at the point we are now where nothing he wants to do has a realistic shot of being passed unless he completely capitulates to the conservative side of things.

The president's job is to head the military and sign/veto shyt. He is not a legislative figure.

I swear some of you dudes are so proudly obtuse that it defies logic.
If you don't think that the President of the US is not considered the unofficial leader of his party then you are an idiot with a child's grasp on politics in this country.

plutocracy achieved...i think the true intentions of this bargain is lowering corp tax rates and barack is masking that by saying it is being done to get money for job programs...the rich get richer and the poor stay poor or gets poorer and this "bargain" fits perfectly into that reality...

They understand. They are just being purposely naive because of who this President happens to be. You'll see a different tune in 4 years time if you're still around these parts.
