oh they wouldnt?:heh: :hmm:

let me keep my ass on the HL

No they would not. They did nothing about the hundreds of security contractors killed in Iraq under Bush. They didn't even do anything about the intel fukk ups before 9/11.

In no universe other than the right wing bizarro world is Benghazi any type of real scandal.

Your right about Benghazi, but the Libyan campaign should be a bigger scandal, once again FUKUS have destabilised another country (not to mention the rest of the maghreb) with no post-war plan, creating another failed state and a massive black market of weapons, and also twisted R2P into Regime change.

Did Obama even get congressional approval for Libya? Does that matter?

Listen to these cacs tho. They honestly believe Obama was sitting in the Situation Room watching 4 Americans die live in HD, laughing. They're going insane. And then politicians see this as an opportunity to make money off the crazies, so they start peddling it too.

I'm fine with people insulting the president, whatever whatever. But when you constantly saying he willingly let Americans died you're accusing him of treason. That's going to far, especially on these bullshyt conspiracies. Somebody gonna try something stupid sooner or later, cuz when I listen to what Fox/Glen Beck/etc are saying it sounds a lot of incitement...

It's amazing what he has done despite complete obstruction from republicans. You'd think he'd be Bush status by now, flailing around. But nah...economy improving, polls show people are more confident about buying, housing market going up, people bout to get healthcare next year, etc.

These scandals are so fake, they'll be done in a month. These cacs just don't get it tho. Appealing to 30% of the country with all this anti-Obama shyt doesn't win elections, nor does it hurt Obama. Most people look at him like "I don't agree with him on everything, but at least he's the grown up in the room...."

:obama:

That has been the perception of him his whole presidency and it will be that way historically as well.

His shortcomings and failures are given a great deal of leeway based on the fact that he was working with absolute retards.

President Obama and members of his National Security team monitor the situation in Benghazi.

What makes you think these were unintended consequences?

The US & Russia have been doing this to for decades and they've gotten highly proficient at it.

Yup. I'm cool with Obama overall but I can't help but think he's dominating in part due to fighting against idiots. It's sort of like when nikkas proclaimed Lil Wayne to be a GOAT contender during the ringtone rap era; mainstream rap was so bad that Wayne's above average ass looked like a genius. If republicans could stop being crazy for a minute, maybe they'd be able to match Obama.

Instead they got cacs like this...

His approval rating went up because both Obamas made speeches telling black people to stop whining. People love that more than anything.

Except his greatest shortcomings and failures have been outside of congressional gridlock.

You guys get caught up in the theatrics too much some times and you forget what really goes down.

That's nonsense.

It is? Why?

Most of Obama's biggest failure as a leader involve executive decisions and/or failure to act outside the scope of his dealings with Republicans. He also has negotiated with himself before even approaching the Republicans on several issues.

Don't feel like having this conversation for the 4663663645th time. There's plenty of old threads where I've given my perspective on it length. :deadhorse:

Fair enough, I just don't see what drones, drone memos, NDAA, stomping out OWS, failure to prosecute Wall Street gangsters, authorizing the DOJ to work at the behest of banks, "too big to prosecute", continuation of Reaganomics, petitioning for indefinite detention, bending over backwards for Monsanto and much more have to do with congressional gridlock. Most of it are executive decisions.
