That’s why President Obama created the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for African Americans. The Initiative is a cross-agency effort aimed at identifying evidence-based practices that improve student achievement, and developing a national network that shares these best practices.

I was the first to not be impress that he was elected. But it seems that he is putting in work and he is targeting the organization that needs to be targetted. I am glad he is not talking about race all day and doing stuff for blacks behind the scenes. Blasting racial topics in the airwaves pertaining to blacks is not advancing the race.

; I don't care I have had Africans help me before and vice versa. Why am I going to hate on my own African blood. I can't say that for a latino; latinos come over here and benefit from these programs and do they turn around and help out or even say thank you to the blacks that died and was beaten up so they can get their benefits. The answer is no; they call us mayates. How do you have a problem with africans coming over here getting a degree and going back to africa and trying to help build africa up

.Were responsible for them to receive the funding; so they can receive the power (money = power, without money you can not make demands and black folks do not have money so we can not make demands) to demand immigration reform. When Koreans first came to Los Angeles; they said were with us blacks we are minorities also; and what did they do, they received benefits to open up stores in the black community. Then after that they thanked us and said 'hurry up and buy you damn ******s' and then they took the money the made off of us and made their own communities. Arabs also.

....He has the popularity,charisma,intelligence,admiration of people both black and white.....probaly moreso than any other black man has ever had in this country.He knows the power comes from people turning they anger on these politicians who will do anything to stay employed....i dont have any doubt obama could unite large ammounts of people of all ages and colors and energize em if he goes hard....then he got Michelle who can do the same,and also has more power to have her own voice now that she wont be acting as the presidents wife

When bush jr was in his last term he enacted several initiatives aimed squarely at his base. He knew he would never be up for re election in any form or fashion and took care of his people. Obama In his 2nd term is still p*ssy footing around trying to be fair to both sides and be diplomatic. We voted for him at a 90+ clip and he gave us a bullshyt program or two, had a gospel concert, called protesters thugs and gave us his ass to kiss.
