Based on what Trump said here? Lol. You must think Obama is at Mar a Lago right now throwing back shots of tequila with Trump huh?

What do you feel was the proper response at a presidential funeral for a former president?

Y'all did this same overreaction during the 9/11 memorial after Kamala roasted him at the debate the night before.

Have you never worked in a professional setting where you have to be cordial with someone you don't fukk with? What do you think black people in corporate America have to do on the regular?
Key word I was going to use later

It’s just being cordial. Sometimes it’s like that, especially if black. I guarantee you, Obama left knowing more about Trumps mindset in the present time than Trump learned about his.

Sometimes.. you let your “enemy” talk

I think Twitter is a far larger thread to discourse than TikTok. Political videos that popped up on my TikTok feed were usually long-form. The shyt that pops up on my Twitter feed is just pure propaganda.
You have a point. Social media overall has been causing a huge brain drain. Musk has truly opened the floodgates for misinformation and Zuck is following suit now.

Didn’t trump and one of his future staff members say they had something “special” planned for Michelle Obama in a threatening way, not too long ago?

As long as you can admit you believe all this "Trump is Hitler" and "he's a threat to democracy" talk was just to get votes and you think Trump is just a regular president then I can respect this response but just disagree with it.

No. The "he's a threat to democracy" talk was very factual.

Someone who repeats baseless claims of voter fraud to ultimately undermine the peoples trust and confidence in the electoral process

Someone who pressured state officials to alter the certified results of an election. Destroying the concept of a free and fair election.

Inciting a riot to intentionally disrupt the certification of electoral votes at an attempt to stay in power even though the people voted opposite.

Saying we should throw out parts of the Constitution simply because he didn't win.

Trying to concentrate as much power and authority in the executive branch to overcome the normal checks and balances that exist for obvious reasons

These things can destroy a democracy.

Saying he's a threat wasn't just for votes. It was and still is very real

I'm not sure if you know this but the president has more power and has influence over more lives than anyone at any job you have ever worked at. It is not analogous to any job.

Also I have worked corporate jobs with people I don't like, I've never been friendly cracking jokes with them.

The point is of all people , black folks especially in corporate America should be able to clearly understand how Obama moved the way he did at an official ceremony for a former president no matter how much he might dislike Trump

Obama defenders doing what they do best when defending their king, straw manning the fukk out of any argument against him. Nobody is saying he shouldve crashed out on Trump at the funeral. There is a very wide gap between crashing out and looking like "Hitler's" friend.

It's laughable how you guys make fun of Trump supporters defending everything Trump does and spins everything in his favor. nikkas in here are saying Obama owned Trump by looking like an old homie. It's incredible

It's amazing the number of L's Democrats have taken lately. I almost feel bad for them. Then I remember all the shyt they talk.

Logically I don't understand how you can understand how big of a threat and problem Trump is to the entire country but when it comes to Obama you downplay it as two coworkers in corporate America who may not like each other but are very friendly at meetings. Logically it doesn't make sense, but when I look through the lens of celebrity worship it makes a lot of sense, it's the same reason why Trump can do the exact opposite of what he says and his supporters will spin it to be in his favor.

The president is not a regular corporate job, not in terms of power or in terms of impact to billions of people. Not only if a coworker talked about you the same way Trump talked about Obama there could be legal consequences if not handled, but your coworker is not trying to destroy the lives of many on the planet.

It's not about personal dislike, it's about people at the highest level understanding what Trump is

You think they don't understand the threat he poses? The people still voted . So what's done is done.

This is where you're struggling. You look at it only through your lens like what you personally would've done in that scenario or now you're talking about some weird lens of celebrity worship. I have no rose-colored glasses for Obama at all.

As a former president at a presidential funeral a politician like Obama is putting everything to the side for those one or two hours in honor of another president. That's all it is. It's an official ceremony for a late president and all the cameras and lights are on.

You find me one single photo of them kicking it at a private event or partying together at Mar a Lago and I'll walk it all back. Otherwise y'all are just overreacting like y'all did when Kamala smiled next to Trump at the official 9/11 ceremony.

When these politicians are at official ceremonies they all on code

Hitler was voted in too, but I don't think you needed to show him enough respect to have looked like one of his homies if you said you opposed him.

You are confused, the only ones who are looking at it through their own lens are corporate brehs like you who keep saying " any black person who has worked in corporate knows what it is." I've kept reminding brehs like you that this isnt a corporate job and your experiences aren't analogous. You can't find any post I've made relating this to any experience I've had. I've only been comparing my corporate experience to the excuses you give

Did you see Bush chop it up with Trump like that? He was a former president at a presidential funeral. Did you even see Bush shake his hand? (Bush is still a demon imo)

Here is the problem, you are viewing them like celebrities where hanging out and them being personal friends is how you measure the scenario. These are politicians, two movement politicians in their own way. Them being so friendly is a disgrace to what they pretend to stand for. Now with Trump it's obvious he doesn't stand for shyt but the fact that you can't see Obama the same way is basic celebrity worship.

Obama probably has that laughing disability. He couldn't help it. Or maybe the orange bukkaki told him his plans, and Obama projecting strength, laughed instead of cried for us.

:whew:
