Debate was fairly boring IMO.

But I'm surprised that Obama isn't using any of the MASSIVE amounts of ammo Romney has given him.

-Didn't mention the 47% thing
-Didn't mention his "I'm not worried about poor people" thing
-Didn't mention his many, many flip flops

I'm wondering if Obama is just too nice for his own good or if he's saving stuff for later. If he doesn't mention Romney's embarrassing international trip where he offended everybody next debate.. :upsetfavre:

Mechanic, debates don't really mean shyt in terms of polls. Historically, they generally don't shift polls by more than 1%. Even if Obama would've destroyed Romney it wouldn't have added much to his numbers. Remember Kerry destroyed Bush in the first debate and he lost. I expect Romney to see a slight bounce off this, but not enough to flip any swing states. Don't be prisoner of the moment.

Big difference from 2008...Obama was running against Bush policies and an old Biff lookin dude from back to the future 2.

Obama needed smelling sauce after this fight. He stuttered worse than Holyfield out there.

All that stuff is better suited for the Town Hall debate. I don't know if that was their strategy for not using it though.

The biggest difference is Republicans have leaders who will fight for what they believe in and the Democrats don't. It's probably because the Democratic base is also spineless and their leaders take on the same traits. Republicans are talking about Politics all year round while Democrats only got worked up after Bush damn near destroyed the country and wrecked the global economy under his watch. With an track record like Bush had the Democrats should win every major election for the next 50 years. Yet all they've nominated since since Clinton left office is weaklings.

I expect Obama to do better in the town-hall format where he can walk around and talk more smoothly. Romney might lose that just off body language alone with his stiff, robotic self.
