It's not appeasing anyone except obama shifting blame on the rising rates from obamacare back to the insurers. This was a purely political move, there is no substantive policy change. The insurers want people to adopt the new policies so they will do everything in their power to get people to change newly created obamacare policies. They will have to explain also to the consumer what is the difference between their old policy and the new one. It's a brilliant political move if you think about it.

Whats all this, "the dems will pay the price during the midterms" talk? The midterms are roughly a calender year away...saying that the midterms are already decided is equivalent to going to an NBA game, and leaving the arena at the beginning of the 1st quarter, because your team is down 10-4. Grow a spine? Listen to your own advice, and stop being so over-reactionary. Thats the worthless media's job.

That is not as snazzy a slogan as "If you like it you can keep it" and it would have been an admission to the validity of a criticism that was being levied against Obama during an election.

Am good, I had my dem freakout after the Denver debate debacle, everything else is copacetic
and dems will pay a price, prior to this clusterfukk, dems were united and would have used the gubmint shutdown clusterfukk to gain some seats in the house...now they are out there running around like headless chickens...as is their wont.

That's not really fair to say. He's got a lot of things accomplished, it's just that most of what he has accomplished is detrimental to the progressive agenda in this country. The only exclusions to that are gay rights, one drug sentencing reform, and restarting stem cell research.

His main two bills are Republican bills. Even his stimulus bill was a complete joke. But I guess if you are part of one of the companies and banks now making record profits while people are still in despair, Obama accomplished a lot for you.
