Bottom line is that one racist Asian guys comment regarding black on black crime doesn't negate the fact that black on black crime is a problem. If some Asian kid is getting bullied at school by black kids and his father tells him not to worry about how black people treat you since they don't even treat themselves right, yeah his statement isn't off base. Saying Black on Black crime is a problem is one thing, as it's rooted in actual, empirical data, even if it is deployed with racist intent. That's very different from a general statement like "don't worry about how Black people treat you since they don't even treat themselves right," which is just a racist generalization. The former statement is true, the latter is not.

Whenever people start talking about "they do x/they don't do y" without distinction then it's time to slow down. Also, the comment of the Asian parent is a perfect example of immigrant misunderstanding and racist animosity as per that other thread.

Lemme give you some context real quick. The original thread we were discussing this in got locked, I forgot exactly what it was about but there were a couple of posters in there quoting the usual mantra about how black people can't really be racist because of their unique experiences in america, etc. I related a story one of my co workers told me about one of his clients who was korean....basically the dudes kid was getting picked on and beat up by black kids at his school and it was affecting his academic performance. When the kid told his pops, his pops told him not to worry about black kids picking on him because of his race because black people kill each other every day in this country, so don't expect them to treat you well when they don't even treat each other right. I thought that shyt was fukked up, and yeah of course its racist, but what makes it even more fukked up is that its not like what he said isnt based on a real problem. The point was that black people being racist towards others seems silly when you take into account the kind of shyt that's being said behind closed doors by others. Racism doesn't gain anybody anything, and definitely not black people, acting like you have a license to say racist just cause is bullshyt. So according to broke fakkit, because i have these views that means I'm a racist my post history speaks for itself, I've shytted on my own people more than anybody elses.
