Yeah, the geechies may not have a lot of n.a. mixture but, the communities that developed from those wars did help this mixing to happen. For example, my family is a mixture of geechies, and nongeechies. My great great grandmother on my grandfathers side was native american, and my older cousins on his brothers wife side are geechie. You can see in some of them the native american mixed with the black. The thing is they don't talk about it that much. Theyre all from the Carolinas.
I think those that stayed in the geechie areas now, are the least mixed but the ones who left the areas to go towards bigger cities for more money, needs to be researched. The way some blacks eat are signs of them being geechies like eating rice all the time, and some of the words they use but its hard with words because some of them use the words west indans use like gwon, and the way they say certain Words.
