Damn, i pay 1250 on my 3Bdr in the Northside because i got a hook up, but i still do not think those prices are really that high up here.

How does the govt combat this? I’m sure they’re aware. For example what’s stopping them from charging $3000 a month all because they know the govt is paying it

They combat it the same way they combat anything else, print more money, raise more taxes..

I doubt the rent there is 1400 even for the governments part.....Ive seen Chicago rents and you can get something way better in a better neighborhood...for that amount.

I was going say of all major cities Chicago has some cheap rent. I’ve always wondered how they’ve managed that.
