Think about what decade/year that was though.
OK, my landlord in CH was a young black lawyer who bought the place from an old Jewish family. This was back in 08 or so. Nobody is turning down $$$$ because of the race of the person spending it.

Yeah, the thing with CH is that it was always partly black owned. Generations and generations of black lawyers, generations of black doctors, generations of successful black people. CH/Prospect Heights, Clinton Hill, Bedstuy are black excellence and at it's worst. A lot has been lost and sold but there is still a strong base. Lots of families who have been here for generations own their own homes and a lot of young successful black people are moving here or returning and buying property. You can get brownstones for good prices still if you're making money and 1000+sqft condos and apartments at competitive rates.
