Yeah, I realize that the mob/herd effect can be applied to memory. I've put false memories in my childhood about things I never should have experienced, but later realized I most likely falsified memories based off of TV shows or books that I read. The human mind is wild.

Craziest thing is people live, die and kill off the testimony of a known unreliable witness that constantly plays a game of "He said... She said" and, in the process, gets caught up in the mix. Its why I say imagination is everything because at its most basic it truly is. Bundles of information tied with expectation but the string is a bit loose and the arrangement subject to influence upon recollection.

This is what underpins reality. The inmates have truly taken over the asylum.

If you asked most folk if that voice in their head was a friend or foe on the average I'd bet well over 70% would think it doesn't like them but most wouldn't dare admit it. And this is whats running the show in terms of what goes on in your dome?

for some people that literally is the entire game.

wake up, log on and :duck:

get asked a question and :duck:

need advice? they got :duck:

shyt, nobody could say nothing and they'll still drop a :duck: on you.

have you like :dwillhuh: as they casually bounce to the next thread like :hubie:

after spending more years on message boards than i care to admit, i've come to accept these clowns as part of the landscape. :yeshrug:

hell, i'll even drop a :duck: or two myself now and again but it's purely in fun and anyone with half a brain can see through my hand crafted bullshyt. :smugfavre:

it is what it is.

But what's wild is you got people telling :duck: to themselves now?

How do you look yourself in the mirror only to see :duck: staring back at you? Do you just go about your day knowing that your operating system is actively clowning you... even in your sleep? :lupe:

shyt sit crazy, brehs. Be safe out there.

All my shyt generally is facts. I may have embellished a time or two. But only 3 people on here I ever talked to me off-line, so I don't have a reason to lie. I've talked about triumphs, my job, my L's I take even up to this day. Not in ways anyone could ever identify me, but with enough detail that I hope it inspires or gives someone food for thought.

My malfunction is assuming other people operate like me. I've only come to the realization a lot of people are lying lol. Rather than drive myself crazy and figure out who, I just take everything with a grain of salt until I see a consistent pattern built up, then I might take it for some semblance of truth. It's a shame though, because I respect a lot of names on here and to think that some are just completely making up a reality for a virtual platform is crazy. *cough* @Luken *cough*

I find the Mandela Effect and the paradox of recallable memory to be extremely thought-provoking. Like to me it's kinda wild that there are collective memories about how something was; only for it to be determined to be different at a later date.

Berenstain Bears is the most evident one I can recall. I've given in to assuming I and a million other people were just wrong, but the last name "Berenstain" doesn't even sound like a real gotdamn last name.

dikk, William Gibson, Issac Asimov, Gene Roddenberry, Arthur Clarke all were oddly close to how reality manifested. You could make the argument that because they fantasized it, scientists and engineers developed technology based on what they described. Gene Roddenberry for instance had shyt that looked like and operated like smartphones in the original Star Trek back in the 1960s.
It's the same reason you get dejavu.. let me stop I've already said too much
