NYPD Commissioner wanted Stop and Frisk to "instill fear" in Young Minority Men

I was asked in a telephone poll whether I was for or against stop and frisk, due to its racist policies.

I said I was in favor

not my fault people are good for nothing badly dressed hoodlums

lets be honest folks, REGARDLESS of what you think is right. do you think muslims should be stopped at airports? yes. because no black man is trying to blow up a plane. do you think black/latino hoodlums should be stopped on the street? yes, because no white or asian guy is committing the majority of the crimes.

its okay to be politically incorrect once in a while especially if its for the greater good.

I don't know if you're being sarcastic or not. Whites are racist, liberals just as much as conservatives. The only difference between the 2 groups is that liberals feel a small amount of guilt. Neither group is going to give up white supremacy. Whites use the police and justice/prison system to control/oppress blacks. Just look at the crackers who post on this site. Until we as a people can accept and unite around the fact that whites have a specific agenda to oppress us as a people, nothing's going to change.

It used to be this one racist ass police around here that nikkas was trying for years to get fired and nothing ever happened.They had recordings of dudes, he was doing illegal searches of peoples houses giving them fakes search warrants and everything and nothing ever happened to dude until him and his boys fukked up a white boy at the preakness one year and he got fired.That shyt right there showed me nobody gives a fukk about us foreal and nothing is gonna change

U don't build wealth in the burbs man. Your moving from a centralized location to out in the middle of nowhere just to commute back into the city for work. You loose out on resources and infrastructure. It simply does not work. In reality cities with large black populations need to rejuvenate themselves instead of fleeing. Look @ what has happened in Brooklyn and Harlem. People run from these areas only to learn from cacs they had prime real estate and should have been working on bettering their surroundings. For all the years black people have lived in NY they should have been thinking about ownership.

The same thing will happen in Detroit once the folks clear out. These cities have prime real estate but the residents don't see the real value. The grass always SEEMS greener on that other side.

What Im saying is its too late for NYers. Detroit is where NY was like 30-40 years ago RE wise. So black people in Detroit still have a chance to make the right choices that black people didn't make in NYC.

most people go, yeah this is wrong but not actually compelled to do anything about it

people know whats up, its a popular issue, but some organization is needed

many people in this thread feel strongly about the issue, maybe you can set something up, and some good will come out of HL

New York State is insane. A Black man in Albany is 58 times more likely to be incarcerated than a white man. As in 5-8, not twice or triple or even 25 times more.

Crime in NYC has dropped because crime + poverty go hand in hand, and NYC's poorest citizens are being displaced. NYC is safe, but shyt is getting crazy in places like Newark and Camden. So the biggest force in NYC's drop in crime has ZERO to do with the NYPD
