Kristian Winfield killed it yesterday with a pair of real nice articles. On the Payton front, I get Fiz loving him...he's got experience in multiple systems with some solid coaching and you can hear his character in all of his quotes so far. That said, I still think Frank outplayed him game one and I'll be upset if DSJ doesn't look better than him.

On Randle, I just like how focused on defensive improvement he is. I think they're gassing him a bit to build confidence, he wasn't great on defense but not terrible which is an improvement. I think the effort is there for the most part and that will translate. We just need average from him and our entire starting defense will be formidable. RJ Barrett was way better than I expected defensively.
