Graffiti is a felony out here in NY, it never was like that until people started to vandalize other property. i didn't know they could do that tho. that's news to me
Vandal squad doesn't play. They showed up at my front door 12 hours after I got out of central bookings just to let me know they were watching

If you go to graffiti gallery's and shows, be aware that vandal squad IS RECORDING EVERYONE who goes to the show

There is definetly track worker graffiti. Vandal squad detectives carry paint on them to tag over writer's work, in the hope they can catch you when you come back to fix it. Notice the "VS" tag over Ghost:

Th older I've gotten, the less i think tagging subway cars is cool. I like the clean look of the subway more these days. 
Graffiti will always be hip hop though. I grew up with the red birds and graffitid up cars doe.

How come they never go after urban explorer's? They don't care if you trespass just don't write graffiti on the property? I easily find pics of Urban Explorer's going around laid up trains in tunnels and in abandoned stations.
Prior to this thread I always thought Vandal Squad was
..... I assume Urban exploring is the same as fare beating to the cops, they don't care unless they blatantly catch you in the act This dude went on the Today Show bragging about urban exploring....
