but since you want to be serious...you can build your emotions up to the point to replicate the same energy you would when you merk someone...all of onyx tracks sound like they just got done stompin a nikka out or killin 3-4 people

it is nearly impossible to FAKE a high

the 2 tracks posted weren't attended to be "High tracks"....most likely the producer was HIGH which gave it that feeling...but to me feelin it and feelin good music...some motivational shyt..get on ya grind..not rly a let me light a blunt

Coming from California we obviously have a ton of our own 'weed songs' but when I think of NYC smoking songs Styles P comes up first

Nah I know what he meant, songs to 'smoke to' that people like in general. I just don't see how he could make a single song worth smoking to let alone have one titled 'high all the time' when hes never high, ever.

I love Fif but this comparison is borderline sacrilegious

High all the time is wack in comparison, especially since he doesn't even smoke like that. Ain't shyt really chill about how much beef you got and all that tough talk.

On the other hand I can get a "high" just from driving around playing feeling it, that's straight summertime, carefree cruising music. Way more conducive to enjoying a buzz.

It's just like they both had a debut album in the works and their minds were like... how do I connect with a weed smoking audience.. Feelin' it is a little more subtle but I don't think either of these guys smoked.

This is a noteworthy discussion in itself and leads me to wonder how much outside contribution 50 Cent had on his major label debut
