cashman gonna go in the dumpster and get max kepler
:mjlol:
Max Kepler is probably THE premier candidate for a bounce back season.

Doesn’t strike out a lot.
Walks a lot.
Hits the ball hard.

There’s concern because last season he trended the wrong way. But he’s dirt cheap and you could do a lot worse for a lefty DH/OF in Yankee Stadium.

I’d take Kepler over Hicks any day.

that's a pretty low bar.

I've conceded that the Yankees did what I figured they'd do which is sign Judge, do little else and expect us to be grateful.

I don't even like Conforto and I'm willing to give him 2 years to buy the Martian time.

There’s not much the Yankees CAN do.

They should give Rodon the bag because when healthy he’s elite. Not deGrom level but just below that.

Other than getting a stud pitcher like that, there’s nothing to do but pray that Peraza and Volpe exceed expectations. Then try to trade Stanton and Gleyber for whatever they can get.

Stanton's not going anywhere

but trading Gleyber should be as high up on their priority list as signing Rodon, and that's with understanding that DJ will realistically miss most of the season.

Stanton is getting to be unplayable.
His decline is happening right now. And it’s ugly.

We got Rodon

Cole
Rodon
Severino
Cortes
Montas

with German, Schmidt in the cut

The starting pitching isn't gonna cost us.

I'd shop Schmidt though and have Gil be the spot starter.
