Better win all 3 home games

Carpenter isn’t ready right now, hasn’t looked good yet whatsoever, never got a hit against Pressly (small sample size), but they still went with him

because they think said batter has a home run in him. Once Locastro went, don't even swing. Then all you need is a bloop.

Only thing I hope is that the Yankees get more calls. Every pitch within 10 miles of the park was a strike for the Astros.

Yeah. Everyone blame the pinch hitter for striking out and not the entire team that struck out 17 times yesterday and 13 times tonight.

In every thread when I point out how the Yankees are constructed in a suboptimal way for playoff baseball all my fellow Yankee fans ignore the comment. Then y’all sit here bytching about all kinds of let downs and manager decisions like this outcome wasn’t predictable 6 months ago.

I honestly believe that they can win all three games at home

Unfortunately It's not what I think it's about this teams confidence to actually get it done.

they perform worse with runners on base.

It's not about putting in an oft-injured Carpenter (if we had a healthy DJ we wouldn't care). It's about everyone's OPS dropping 100-150 points when someone's on base. This shows itself anytime the Yankees are in extras with the ghost runner.
