If I am the Yankees and I know Carpenter is playing in this series, sit DJ and activate Peraza.

If Josh sucks, we can move IKF to 3B and play Cabrera or Peraza at SS. If IKF sucks we can play Peraza there. DJ at less than 100% doesn't help this team much.

they love to shyt on and kill the confidence of young players
They love using that bs excuse about experience, but Peraza should've been up in June or July. Instead he was in AAA so mediocre ass IKF and Donaldson could play everyday.

The Braves do it the right way. When their prospects show they're ready they bring them up and actually give them an opportunity to play.

Re: the trades they made during the trade deadline : you can't hug all your prospects :manny:.
They traded 6 of their top 20 prospects. The ones they didn't move have a clear path to the roster next year and beyond.

Peraza has a path to being the SS/2B of the future. Cabrera has carved out a path to at worst being a super utility guy. Volpe has SS earmarked for him. They tried to deal the Martian for Castillo which I think woulda been a bad move.
