Nah I’m keeping it 100 and this has nothing to do with Jeter, but he’s not the most vocal guy, the team doesn’t feed off of whatever he does, and I still haven’t forgotten when we split with the Sox in 2018 he wanted to do some dummy shyt like play NY NY out loud in the locker room for everyone to hear only to lose both games at home.

This franchise felt so desperate for leadership they thought they found it in a washed bigot making $25 mil a year.
I’m still confused here
What exactly are you asking from him?

Hal and Cashman put together a roster that had IKF, Hicks, Gallo, and MAGA Josh with almost 2000 PA’s with no ace in the rotation, and the discussion is Judge’s leadership:dahell:

best player isn't always going to be the most vocal, so that ain't something I'm worried about

with that being said, the team needs a young gun who other young players will want to join in the trenches and will gain respect from vets too

He gets it. Point is, the Yankees spend a lot of money on players who don't lead. The difference between Cole and Judge is that nobody is dying to make Cole Captain, because that would be a dumb idea of course.

The Blue Jays had a roster that had Tapia, Jackie Bradley Jr, Danny Jansen and Matt Chapman and apparently it doesn't matter because they'll be the ones who kick our ass. I'm not saying Judge needs to hold everyone's hand. I'm saying if nobody else wants to figure out why the Gleyber's of the roster suck now, he might wanna find out and try to address that, because unlesss he's leaving, it's in his best interest to get those guys to run through a brick wall for him. Instead we're praying for Giancarlo Stanton to come back and make everyone else look good.

I love Judge, but he's a swaggerless religious oaf with identity issues. He ain't never gonna be a leader that way.

If watching this ceremony full of winners doesn’t motivate this roster than tear it up.
I swear the 90s Yankees have been around during this entire swoon.

The 90s Yankees are to this current team the way Joe Namath is to every Jet player: a reminder of what they'll never be.

We're so ass right now and I'm mad

Watching this team now makes me wonder if I'll be able to watch baseball as an older man

I'm yelling at the screen now and I went on a damn rant at the stadium Thursday night to the point where people around me were on some "I hear ya brother"
