I'm an east coaster that spent my summers i Brooklyn and lives in LA.
NYC communities have a LOT to learn from Southern and Northern California.
One thing that the leaders of these protests have done in LA is start the protests in non black neighborhoods.
The reason is two folds, 1) The people that need to hear this are not in black neighborhoods. And 2) if things go bad, our neighborhoods stay clean and secure.
Preparation wins over reaction every time.

The bigger issue at hand is Dyckman not knowing their place and getting checked for it. That groupthink will get you in unnecessary predicaments. Lesson learned for y’all huh. Because y’all know you couldn’t come to Brooklyn, Queens or Harlem popping off with that same bravado. Do better.
What did yall do that was actually so important to call us out on this fine morning? Those Dominicans & Ricans are damn near black anyways.
