90s new york is a place i wish i could visit, the whole aura and vibe of the city is something that you can feel. I went when i was a kid but i dont really remember, i think it was 96. Everything about it seems different, it might be cleaner now but when i visit now i dont get that same vibe that i get when i look at these pictures. Everything seemed different
some good movies that capture 90s new york are kids, hurricane street, the proffessional, Fresh i know almost every movie in the 90s was filmed in new york but some movies captured that vibe that you get when you think of that city

Who remembers the Convent house ? when I was 13 I ran away from my group home and went to 42nd street, midtown was extremely lit at the time, wild money, drugs, bytches, all that, and the covenant house was where damn near every bad ass ,gangbanger , runaway, drug addict under the age of 21 was living. That shyt was like rikers, girls on the 4th floor , boys on the 3rd, cuttings, fights, robbin and stealing, if you was lucky you got into a room but most dudes would be in the dayroom on mats . shyt was completely out of control, theyd kick u out in the morning and you had to be back at night, all day long kids would be wildin in midtown and go back to the cov at night to chill . i remember niccaz would post up on the corner of 42nd and 9th right next papuya hotdog place hella deep it used to be getting all the way live in the summer of 98 . 42nd st now is disney land compared to back then .
