I think it's a fascinating, tragic, representation of many aspects of our country, and countries across the world, but esp. the US. This is a familiar scenario I can write these myself now, Sinaloa heroin supplied to the poorest sections in NY, or wherever, and the people who control the drug distribution there, and their collision course with the heavy hand of the US government. I do think the psychological aspects of poverty and the shameless materialism is equally fascinating and by turns tragic and comical, above all predictable.

As long as you have these neighborhoods, you will see these groups and trafficking networks. That is is the real issue here.

-These kind of networks are always vulnerable to the feds, because they are widespread with many workers and runners, affiliates, that can be flipped, but that's the why those vast profits are realized. You can flip runners, stash house workers, mid level dealers, it's endless.

-Flashiness as always been a thing, people talk about the past like guys like Alpo and others weren't over the top with the flashing and spending, it's ingrained into aspects of hustling culture.

-That said, if fed task force gets a guy who gets popped with 2 kilos of heroin and wants to talk, and he sits down and talks about the guys he knows are bringing it in, do you think it's easier or nah, when he can point out the entire distribution network on instagram and facebook?

Exactly... Dudes should have been like old man ochoa of the medellin cartel who actually ran the cartel but he stayed quiet on his farm doing cattle work but actually making millions on the low, but people think pablo ran everything because he was flashy and out in the public eye
You act like every drug dealer has the luxury of being the boss of a fukking Cartel. The boss can put as much distance between him and the day to day operations as possible. These dudes are middle men.

Yes it is a real question.....obviously one that very little people know because if not people wouldn't be risking their lives and freedom doing criminal activities...... and a 9-5 won't get you rich either. So I ask again what legal hustle gone get you rich AND actually work? Cuz you can't even sell sneakers in this economy.

:jbhmm:
Well, I won't get into the reasons why people do criminal activities because there are plenty. And 99% of these dudes aren't rich or even making equivalent to $15 an hour. And I'm from these places, so I'm not speaking from what I've heard.

Now, I got a lot of dudes I've helped that make great money. I can't say rich because I don't really know where great money &a rich starts lol - easy 6 figs can get you a Bentley with a down payment and 800 a month, so this stuff never impresses me.

How about this. Save up 30k-50k (which is realistic because people do it for weddings and homes) and invest in a small franchise that doesn't require you to buy 6 upfront. Even a gas station chain in upstate NY. You will being in 15k a month in no time. You can use that to flip into some properties as well as some more gas stations.

That's just a random one, from some people that I just met up with last week. There's so many hustles and I barely explained myself, but you just gotta actually ask around, be patient and not blow your little paycheck.

Most people don't have the patience for this, plus want the fast money, but at 34 I'm still free and alive while every dude posted in messageboard like this our locked up at 23 years old for the next 15-20.

:snoop: jesus christ criminals get dumber and dumber everytime I see these articles...

did any of them have a legitimate business, stocks, offshore accounts where they could stash the money? laying low is how you survive and staying out of the spotlight... :mindblown:

Nikka you think that shiit is easy. Unless you got serious connects, or plugged in with a person who has access in that world.

Hiding that type of money is next to impossible.

interesting perspective. The shyt rolls downhill concept is in full effect.

gov't (property owner) has no incentive to stop the source of the leak pipes causing water damage (cartel/drug sources), they would simply continue making the tennant (people involved in crime) foot the bill. Because once that breh is gone, another unknowing tennant will step into the "trapped house" and the cycle continues

This is true, but the US Government does try to stop the sources of supply into the country, it's just much more difficult, than these "trap houses" in poor neighborhoods from SouthEast San Diego, to Eastern New York. Over 140 gang members have been arrested and charged federally for trafficking meth and heroin just in San Diego in last 6 months. They indict members of cells based in Mexico, they arrest upper level traffickers, but there will always be product flowing into the US. Always. Drug cartels upper level guys know the risk involved when dealing with these types of networks, usually there are multiple proxies used, or it's a familial tie. Guys from Sinaloa, who make millions in the US, are much more low key, for the most part, because it is frowned upon to be so flashy in the US, knowing law enforcement.

Someone asked how cars are bought, cash money from private sellers, are more often leased and financed through someone with a good job and decent credit, and shady car dealerships, who won't report the purchase to the government, which all reputable ones will.

Another thing is that these guys think they are laughing at the feds, buying these cars and chains, but the feds are laughing harder at them, (if laugh is the right word).

Sometimes when I can't sleep I think of these cases and people involved, and think of how they are living now vs then, sleeping on a rack in feds, instead of a suite in Miami.
