sounds like the first woman made a lot of poor choices and isn't financially literate and I think government can fix almost anything

the other people they're not really giving us enough information
1.) Doesn't want to tell his family he has cancer and lost his job?
2.) I guess there isn't workers comp in Colorado?
3.) Needs additional disability compensation

The Fed is doing the interest rate hikes to start forcing AirBnb renters to sell property. There's supposed to be a a surplus of apartments coming to drive down prices.

Im hoping these are legit reports and not more bs

$2,360/month for one bedroom and 673 square feet is fukking wild. No wonder people live in their cars.

Take-home monthly pay making...

Federal minimum wage: $960
$15/hour: $1970
$20/hour: $2,620
$50k/year: $3,300
$70k/year: $4,450

Going by the 30% rule, you would need to make $95,000 for that one-bedroom apartment to be "affordable". But yeah, teachers making $46k a year average starting salary in Washington definitely aren't underpaid, right?

And that's in Washington, where there's no state or local income taxes. In other states, take-home pay would be even lower.
Reminds me of this story.

San Francisco families asked to loan spare rooms to teachers as rents push out public workers

A San Francisco school district is trying a new approach for teachers struggling with soaring rent prices.

In an innovative attempt to help its roughly 500 employed educators find affordable housing, the Milpitas Unified School District has emailed parents asking if they can rent rooms in their homes.

“If you have a room for rent at your home and would like to share the housing opportunity with our Milpitas Unified School District educators, please fill out this Google form,” the email read, according to ABC News.

Teachers in the district earn between $67,163 and $111,410, a salary bracket that does not meet the pre-requirement of 40 times the average monthly rental rate of $3,000 in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Daily Mail reported.

Superintendent Cheryl Jordan told the outlet that her district decided to give the desperate method a try after losing potential employees once they became familiarized with the cost of living in the tech area.
