And yes, let's keep it real, BW do not seek outside approval as much as other races of women. And there is good reason for that, if they did they'd be a complete fukking wreck. On the bright side, black people do seem to know the media depicts us wrong so we don't seek confirmation as much as others who do have more positive, ubiquitous, and accepted images.

But again, logically speaking, just because we don't seek outside confirmation as much doesn't mean we aren't passively affected by its influences when we are constantly bombarded by them.
