They are mad cause Jay is beating them at their own game. Nobody believes STD Buzbee or this chicks story anymore. The victim can go on national tv and slander a man with no evidence and a story that makes no sense but when Jay uses the media to defend himself now its a problem? The days of celebrities sitting back and letting things play out in court is over. You career and image can be destroyed before anything plays out in court and regardless of you winning or not. We have yet to see one shred of sex trafficking evidence against Puff but it doesnt even matter at this point. Even if he beats the case the damage is done.

Jay and his legal team are doing the right thing. Go on the attack and don't let up until the case is tossed and the "victim" is named discredited. You take any avenue you can to clear your name including going after the lawyer who filed the suit. There is no such thing as being too aggressive when someone is calling you a pedo and rapist.

Civil cases are based on feelings and accountability

That's not true at all. The burden of proof in civil court is "more likely than not" aka 51% sure. In criminal cases it is beyond a reasonable doubt (99% sure).
But most of these civil cases go nowhere. The media only reports when they get filed. They never follow up and report when they get tossed out or when the celebrities beat their cases.

True but I think it’s more about following “court rules” , when u file motions u gotta follow timelines/deadlines. I think Spiro is strong arming, like it said in her letter

“shortening deadlines from 21 days to 1 day”

“not giving plaintiff 5 days to respond”

“ not waiting for court to set motion schedule”

A judge allowing the case to proceed doesn’t make the case any stronger. This isn’t a legal case it’s essentially a war for public perception, and Jay z’s lawyers tactics were great for public perception. It did its job. Not everyone knew Buzbee is a scam lawyer, they NEEDED to out that out there.

Getting a slap on the wrist is a negligible cost

I agree but the judge can go cry in the car. Public opinion these days matters more than actual court outcomes. Look at Trump. He actually lost in court but controlled public opinion so nobody cares.
