NY hasnt had a male superstar rapper in over 20 years

Kendrick is wildly successful and a master of his craft but I wouldn't put him in the superstar category.

Kendrick had like 52M monthly listeners on Spotify before Like That, has a tour that crossed the $100M mark (something Prince didn't do, or Janet Jackson), last album got more than 340M streams opening week (in the US alone). The guy is a superstar. He doesn't have the same presence as someone like Billie Eilish or Drake even cause he don't be on socials like that, releasing frequently or attending high profile events.
