I have no dog in this fight so I can keep it real. Part of the problem is not having a crowd, but this is also what happens when you cater to smarks. Wrestling is ay it's best when it's over the top, which is why the Boneyard match and Funhouse match were acclaimed. The majority of wrestling fans just want to be entertained.

Alvarez is such a smark it's embarrassing.

other promotions BEEN doing stuff like the boneyard/funhouse matches long before and much better than the WWE, but they have chitty ratings to show for it.

they'd both be doing nearly twice the numbers that theyre pulling in, if they were on seperate nights.

problem is, theyre catered to the exact same audience and cant co-exist.

AEW would be better off just opposing raw at this point.
