When something has been around for 60+ years there's a thing called 'brand loyalty'. There are dudes who literally been watching WWF/WWE all their life since the 60's or 70's.. That demo is not switching to fukking AEW lol.

We've talked about demos enough. The point is AEW is not even a year old so to think they should be doing RAW numbers is lazy way of thinking. AEW is a company on the rise and WWE... well, I think they might have peaked. NXT itself seems to have peaked.

bruh I ain't even hating on AEW. I just want them to rise back up to the mill mark because I believe they're putting out the quality that deserves that number. Although I believe the numbers they're doing right now are just fine since TNT extended their network relationship by like 2 more years? I'm never gone be in here wondering if they can reach raw or SDL numbers especially with SDL on a huge network like FOX, and still not doing the numbers Fox wants. I'm cool.

But I mean damn. this show deserved a milli in my book.

Fox said that wanted to average 2.5 and that's what they're getting. Why are people so dead set on Smackdown being a failure?

It's nothing more than a lame ass moral victory for AEW haters. They need something to make themselves feel better about the fact that WWE is getting outclassed by a startup promotion.

Too bad they seem to only appeal to the neckbeard demographic that doesn't move the needle. All AEW did was do the opposite of what the WWE did, while Smackdown had to go on just a couple of days after the quarantines. The only goalposts being moved are by you AEW marks that swore they'd get over a milli since everyone was at home.
