The 1mil goal is what so many AEW fans swore AEW would get if they ran unopposed. NXT ran 2 big matches and still got a low number and AEW got a low number as well, which means there's no switching back and forth but instead people are just tuning out.

If someone said they’d average 1m for the rest of 2021 unopposed then that’s false, but it’s common sense that they will pass 1m on occasion unopposed. You’re also comparing AEW numbers versus itself when calling the 743k number pathetic.
