That's what I've been saying, these ratings suck even when they're "high".Can't we all just agree both their ratings aren't good?

AEW is on TNT, they should be doing big numbers and not no numbers in the hundred thousandsI don’t necessarily think either suck though to be honest
It’s funny in the sense of this being a “war” when it’s literally a brand spanking new company and WWE’s development brand scrapping over the same 400k fans, and AEW pretty easily winning 96% of the time.
I’m sure AEW at least is performing fine in it’s timeslot, and NXT is only there to be a disturbance. Ratings aren’t trash, but there’s still a clear hierarchy
WWE’s flagship programming is like the NBA, NXT is the G League and AEW is Ice Cube’s BIG3. Big 3 is on the rise, more people watch it than they do the G League.. but at the end of the day, the NBA is still the NBA
HOLY shyt THIS fukkING LOSER MARK @Max.
HAS OVER 660 POSTS DEDICATED TO AEW shytPOSTING, KILL YOURSELF
This notion that AEW is on the rise has to stop. They're doing everything they swore they wouldn't do because they have to get the numbers up. We don't live in the 90s anymore where everything was word of mouth, we have all the info we need right at our fingertips. The excuse of them being a new company doesn't work since they debuted at 1.4mil but couldn't retain that number.I don’t necessarily think either suck though to be honest

Also wrestling isn't popular enough anymore to the point where you can just start a new company and people will flock to it. People really need to accept the fact that this is how it's going to be on Wednesday night, AEW will max out at 800k with the occasional 900k and NXT will max out at 700k with the occasional 800k.
This is a dumb postAEW is on the rise tho
The phrasing of “on the rise” is what you’re misinterpreting. It doesn’t mean that ratings are rising or even staying steady every week. It means that 2 years ago they literally averaged 0 viewers a week.. because they DIDNT exist. Didn’t run shows, didn’t have weekly television, it was just an idea. Now they’re a NEW - growing company complete with a fanbase, weekly TV, a video game license, merch and sponsors. That qualifies as on the rise..
Lamelo Ball doesn’t have to average 40 a game to be on the come up. He’s gonna have 2-13 nights
This is a dumb post
