Both shows were entertaining IMO. USA & TNT seem to be ok with the ratings they’re getting so I’m not concerned with that. It’s the first time I watched NXT in a minute mostly because I wanted to see Sasha vs Io. Let’s stop pretending NXT doesn’t have stars. Keith Lee is on the verge of superstardom, and although I may not like Adam Cole he’s also star.

Let's stop abusing the word star. Stars are wrestlers who are popular and have crossover appeal, and the biggest star on NXT last night was a Smackdown wrestler.

Dynamite hasn't even been on air for a year, not fair to compare it to the company as established as WWE.

The fact that AEW even beats a WWE branded show is sad

Nice spin job. This ain't the 90s where you can grow your product, everything is instant and that's why shows start off big and settle down after a while. Did you ever think that maybe just maybe fans really don't care about AEW that much? Or maybe wrestling isn't the hotbed it used to be, so fans are just going to stick with the lead dog and occasionally watch the other ones.

In the realm of tv these numbers continue to suck. These are not very good numbers and neither show has been able to put up good numbers since their debuts last year. The difference is that NXT is house money for the WWE, while Dynamite is the life blood of AEW.

People have finally had enough of his shtick and he knows it.

Why dont you let the networks and advertisers decide what is good for their business? Statements like these is how this stupid stan war keeps going. Both networks seem content as USA has no reported unhappiness and TNT are reportedly thrilled with AEW's numbers being so high above projected numbers.

I mean, the build for Io vs Sasha was basically a couple of Twitter videos back and forth less than a week out from the event. For an essentially inconsequential exhibition match
