Granted I kinda had it on in the background while looking for sneakers on ebay but, so it didnt have my full attention .....but the full sail audience was actually pissed that Joe eliminated Breeze and then ecstatic when Breeze pulled Joe out?

I'd have figured they'd want Joe win the thing if anything. Full Beard University getting maternal about their homegrown?

While I don't think they needed to treat it as if they saw Roman eliminate Bryan or something, I do think it's better for NXT that the title feud is between actual developmental talent rather than a semi-indie part-timer like Joe or Rhyno.

Owens was, but your criticisms are also valid for Balor who's been coasting on the demon gig because frankly, dude isn't that charismatic and certainly not a great talker. Hell, in that aspect Apollo might actually have Balor beat already.

I'm not convinced Alexa's ready for Bayley... I was hoping that'd just turn into a Bayley squash for the taping. She could do with a couple of squashes to elevate her from the pack after several matches in a row that could've gone either way.

Nia looks promising. I don't get the complaints about her size/appearance... ring gear doesn't look great and they're trying too hard with the angles in all honesty; this is exactly what the "revolution" should be doing. If women wrestlers are going to get the platform male wrestlers get, then you need variety which includes the odd big fukking unsexy brutish one too. Nobody ever needed Earthquake and Tugboat to be photogenic; you had The Rockers for that. Used right she can be turned into an absolute fukking monster... and not like the strongwomen that eventually get booked against men as a freakshow like Chyna* or Nicole fukking Bass.

And I'm with you on balor as well

He's gotten by because he clearly has the it factor and a star presence but he's yet to back it up personality wise either but unlike crews, he's got the demon body paint gimmick to fall back on and his work in the ring is good enough to guarantee him some level of success

Balor's upcoming heel turn and what he does with it will be very interesting

I do hope to see a crews vs balor main event for the next special, crews takes balor to the limit and balor does something shady to keep his title

damn...Tyler was over as fukk. Shame he never got a run with the title. I've heard rumors that he's been quietly moved up to the main roster. He had a dark match on smackdowns tapings. Blake and Murphy got 2 segments. I'm intrigued over the prospect of a Bliss title run, but certain things have to happen for it to really work. One her ring work has to have improved. Last time I seen her she looked soft as fukk...and not in the good way. Blake and Murphy must be used as much as they can. And its gotta result in Bayley eventually going to the main roster and Asuka beating Bliss' ass. She fine as fukk so I'm sure Vince and them want her on the main roster ASAP.

Asuka has no business losing to anyone for a long, long time. So I'm not sure what they gonna do to keep the belt off of her. Fans are berserk for her. Bayley is gonna retain for awhile but she's gonna have to take some beatdowns. Bliss looks good....that much we can all agree on.

Just keep Asuka on that squash run for a few months building momentum. She can be commentated as new blood for a good three months or so.. maybe even longer, just destroying anyone they've got except the very top few (Bayley, Jax, Becky if she's still repping NXT) and eventually give her the big payoff at a prestige event (i.e. NOT the Goldberg payoff).

Maybe even throw in a few Ryback style "local talent" matches where randomers trash talk her before the match and end up getting turned into paste.

Based on the "I'm in Paris" vignette they just ran on the 10/21 show, I guess Eva Marie will be presented as a heel in NXT now. Good.

I have to admit, NXT being nothing but squash matches and hype for Finn put me off of the weekly show for a while. So I might be late in realizing this. I also don't read spoilers for NXT tapings so I don't know who's winning and losing week to week. Forgive me if she's already working heel and I didn't know it.
