I think Owens is gold on the mic, it's pretty much what made me accept him as a legitimate heel because even if he goes hard in the ring, he just doesn't have the look and his mic work makes up for that a lot.

And the reason we're shytting on Baron Corbin is because they push the guy way too hard. Yeah, it's developmental, but maybe they should've thought about that before they kept pushing him as a monster like six months in a row with little to no signs that he can back it up in the ring. Plus the guy is just void of any presence, no intensity whatsoever, and it doesn't help they're putting him next to Rhyno who can push up the air pressure in a room just by stepping into it.

Man, I hope they're going to stretch out that 'murder mystery' plot with Hideo's shoulder for the next 6 months. Like some kinda Whodunit story where Regal investigates and discovers everybody has a motive to hurt Hideo and he has to find out who and why.

But please NXT, stop showing Becky doing the Irish jig when she first came out. That shyt hurts my eyes and my soul.

Can't believe i'm the only nikka besides Corey Graves (and now @LaughsLikePac :kobesalute:smile: who fux with BAMF...these dudes are perfect technicians man. You can tell Murph dog has been studying the great Eddie Guerrero. Does the in ring plancha senton and Blake does the frog splash. Blake is crisp as fukk on all of his moves. And he's got the HBK motorcycle boots. Alexa is bad AF. Made those vanilla giants famous. Dub stepping all over the tag division. I like Cass and Enzo as much as the next man but they aint ready. You guys just don't see potential...you want greatness right away...you need to respect and appreciate the journey...Wait til they really start cookin.

They have zero personality and no stand-out moves which makes all their matches bland as fukk.

Alexa Bliss though. :whew:

When she goes to the main roster she gonna get that Stratusphere push. :ohlawd:

I'm trademarking the term 'stratusphere push' in reference to WWE Divas right now btw, ya'll better not use it without giving proper recognition.

i think Joe is gonna be the one who they say attacked Hideo, it'd make sense. He gets taken out and all of a sudden Joe shows up when Hideo had the chance to be #1 contender

As long as they draw it out for six months and have Regal do interrogations and investigations, I'm happy with it.

I'm really starting to like NXT but...

What do people see in Kevin Owens? dude is trash on the mic and looks like a fat neckbeardy wrestling fanboy.

I just don't see it.

To each their own.

I think he's different on the mic rather than trash. His promo at the beginning of this week's NXT showed he can adlib when needed as well.

As for the look - are we going to act like he doesn't speak to one of WWE's key demographics looking the way he does? :mjpls:

I'd rather watch a fat neckbeardy wrestling fanboy who is passionate about what he does, then a failed footballer who's doing it for a paycheck.

The draw in him is his personality - and it's an interesting contrast when you have super diesel guys like Brock who have someone speak on their behalf, then have Owens, who looks like he hopped the barricade coming out with some articulate sociopathic shyt in his promos. Adds some difference to the roster at the very least.

And with his current 'I'm doing all this :demonic: for my family' , I'm sure he'll eventually go 'Full Heisenberg' and admit 'I'm doing all this :demonic:because I'm good at it and I like it' leading to even more :demonic:. We don't get character arcs like that much these days.

If you can watch this match and not feel a way about it, fair enough - but I think a lot of what people like about Owens is his history. The dynamic with Sami Zayn and his work in ROH. I only really got up on his work last year, but this made me a believer.

They haven't been given alot of time to show alot of their personality...yet still their winning people over one by one. No stand out moves my ass...running brainbuster...Eddie Guerreros Senton...Frog Splash...Powerbomb Lungblower...and this is their work as heels...you aint supposed to outshine the babyfaces man. They gave Enzo and Cass the best match of their careers. Obviously the suits see something special in them...they put the straps on them relatively early in their NXT careers. These dudes made their bones on the Indy scenes where they were both heavyweight champions. Just wait... they're gonna be great. Until then...enjoy 2 of the best technicians in NXT...spittin game at these NXT smuts...having Blissful days...living the dream. Get on the bangwag now...the payoff will be :ohlawd:

Bryan Alvarez mentioned on Friday’s episode of the Wrestling Observer Live! that the original plans were for WWE to call up Sami Zayn to the main roster following his match with Kevin Owens atNXT Takeover: Unstoppable.

However, with him injuring his shoulder prior to that event in an RAWmatch with John Cena, WWE made the decision to keep Zayn down in NXT and instead to call up Owens to the main roster.

As noted, Owens has been added to several upcoming RAW TV tapings and has signed a main roster contract with WWE.

Also, Alvarez mentioned that there are some big plans in the works for Finn Balor to be called up to the main roster, but would not go into further details on those exact plans.

In an interview with WWE.com, Samoa Joe spoke about finally arriving in the WWE and his history with John Cena. Here are highlights:

On signing with WWE: “I’m over the moon. It’s something I never really thought I would have the opportunity to do. To be here now, it’s an unreal feeling.”

On his history with John Cena: “I had the chance to work with John quite a bit in UPW and even beyond that. When John was just getting started, we hung out a lot. Being a trainer at the school, I taught the beginner course. John was the type of guy, who even though he was past the basics, he would come to the beginner class in the morning. I would see him at the advanced class at night, where I would go to get train and improve…”

On whether he thought John Cena would become the star he is today: “I had no doubt. It’s funny, I’ve been asked that before. He didn’t have to come to the beginner class. He didn’t have to come to all the practices. But John came to all of them; he did all of the work and extra work on top of that. He was so laser-focused on becoming a WWE Superstar, much more than anyone else from UPW who had gotten the opportunity to go to WWE at the time. There really wasn’t a question in my mind that he would become the star he is today.”

On what led to Joe coming to WWE: “I’ve had a great career up to this point. I’d pretty much wrestled everywhere in the world. The one place that eluded me was WWE. I had put out feelers to a few friends and confidants in WWE. They did some probing on my behalf. Slowly, but surely, a small glimmer of hope opened up. Talks progressed and the opportunity presented itself.”

On his WWE goals: “At some time, I would love to make a trip up to the main roster and wreak my brand of havoc. So many people I’ve come up with have succeeded in WWE. Though I thought the opportunity would never present itself, I’m here now. I’m in the best shape of my career and I’m more than happy to fulfill the destiny that has eluded me for far too long, and that’s to be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion
