This was what I was thinking the other day and putting him in those matches are not going to help him once he gets on the main roster.

Gotta look at the other side of the picture. Hes still very green in the ring, so having him do more than hes capable of is gonna make the crowd turn on him. He still needs work. I doubt Corbin will get brought up to the main roster anytime soon.

Meanwhile if you look at Rusev in his final months at NXT he was having legit matches with dudes like Dolph Ziggler. When he got brought to RAW he was just beating on jobbers but he didnt get brought up until they knew he could work. Id think the same would happen with Corbin.

Also, even though NXT is labelled "developmental" it has really transcended that. Its now considered the best weekly wrestling show by many, so you cant just have dudes learning on the fly when so many people are watching and expecting great wrasslin. They learning behind the scenes now.

Corbin has been wrestling longer, competitive matches on the NXT house shows fwiw. Better to let him take his lumps in those types of matches in front of 500 people than on the Network for all to see.

I've heard he was a Demott guy so we'll see if he keeps the same level of push in the coming months. The tapings that are airing now were so freakin long ago.

Dana Brooke should get in the gym and throw up some plates if shes going to be posing so much

was thinking the same thing...she ain't really that jacked for this to be her gimmick. Her stomach region also looked weird in that attire.

WWE continues to branch out with their developmental territory.

The stars from NXT will be coming to Pittsburgh on Thursday, June 11, at Stage AE on the North Shore.

If you're a professional wrestling fan from the old days, you have to see NXT. If you're a professional wrestling fan who loves the product today, you have to see NXT.

The shows are full of energy with smaller, more intimate crowds. It has an old-school studio wrestling type feel to it with a classic format of storytelling. The shows are also done with the big-budget production to adhere to WWE's production quality and standards. This, plus the unbelievable things the men and women of NXT do in the ring lives up to any wrestling show you have gone to recently.

The brand started just doing shows at Full Sail University in Florida where they did their filming. Recently, they've begun touring and did a few shows in Ohio that were received with overwhelmingly positive reviews.

No official names have been given, but I would expect all of the major NXT names to be there. We've also seen guys from the main roster who appear on “RAW” and “SmackDown” make appearances at these NXT shows. Regardless of who's on the card, it's all a recipe for success.

If you've never seen NXT, watch it on the WWE Network. Once you see it, I guarantee being at an NXT show will sound like a great way to spend Thursday night in Pittsburgh.

A pre-sale of tickets will take place Thursday, April 30, at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. The general on-sale date is Friday, May 1.
