Stephanie goes from Mercedes Mone last weekend to signing to NXT
Shortly after news surfaced that Vaquer was done with CMLL and NJPW, rumors surfaced that Stephanie Vaquer was bound for WWE and NXT, and that she was even backstage at last Sunday’s NXT Heatwave premium live event. WWE NXT Executive Producer and coach Shawn Michaels has made it official, announcing Vaquer’s signing to WWE. He also confirmed that she will be heading to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida to start with WWE’s developmental brand, NXT.

Stephanie Vaquer is a former NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion. She lost the title to AEW star and TBS Champion Mercedes Mone last month at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, which aired live on pay-per-view.
