NXT and AEW both had a pretty boring first half hour but I enjoyed the last 90 minutes of both

NXT of course still better overall :rambo:

This was very much a setup episode
I wish more shows would do this honestly. They want to hotshot everything and have things always happening and being paid off in the same show, but having some setup makes the whole thing work.
No one wants to be told a story without setup, foreshadowing and room for consequences to build. NXT is the only WWE property that actually is storytelling and wrestling, honestly.

it's crazy he's pushing late 30's yet he's only been wrestling on a big stage for a few years. goes to show that life experience plays a big part in charisma/professionalism
Wrestling is the only place where age actually helps you. Imagine how much better football players would be if they had the brains of a 30yr old when they're drafted.

It's a tough business to master if you're not a 2nd/3rd generation.

Keith Lee is a true example of heart and determination. Impressive that he has only really been on the map for 2-3 years now and he's already very much ready for the main event scene.
