This shyt only works if it's like, 70% joshi. Like... NXT Japan does not survive if it's trying to go at NJPW, AJPW, DG, DDT, etc.
It might make it if its main comp is STARDOM, simply because they have Asuka, Io and Kairi doing ok. What Japanese male wrestler has the E managed to not fukk up? Hell, what gaijin wrestler known for their work in Japan has gotten much of anything without massive pitfalls?

Seems like it's pretty much only there for people who don't want to go through the dojo system. shyt's finna flop hard. If they were smart, they'd be opening NXT South Pacific. Get the Aussies and the Kiwis, yeah, but start looking at Maori and Poly rugby dudes and getting them trained up. Have that next generation of Samoan dudes with legit athletic backgrounds coming in. This February Takeover seems weird to me as it feels like it's the card the WM show would have but a month and a half early, so the WM show will either be rematches or they'll have a month to build all new storylines to the biggest show because they ended all the long running angles on a stand alone show a month and a half earlier.

Probably should have had a normal Takeover at the Rumble or just let Balor/Gargano and Cole/Ciampa run all the way to WM.
