NXT 2.0 on USA 9/13/22: One-Year Anniversary Celebration!

Yes, AEW is what NXT became in 2019 and that's a indy workrate show. So why would indy fans want to watch that with 400 people in attendance, when they could watch it with bigger names in front of thousands of people?

Facts, it took Vince McMahon blowing that bullshyt black and gold NXT (which Khan dumb self signing the Indy darling's he "beat") and moving it too a totally different day of the week...I've said it a million times, no one cares about long 30 minute matches with "technical" "work rate" lil dudes and girls wrestling because that's who the "fans" are clamoring for


I've said it in Max now bushed thread(which I don't understand why these clone, passive aggressive title changing rip off threads are lame and boring)

Vince should have never signed off on NXT, giving Cm Punk an the "smart fans" what the wanted getting the Indy darling's a showcase. Should have kept Ovw/fcw and changed the name for modern times, no reason a bunch of guys and gals should be developing their talent on broadcast television, you wanna tape it okay fine. Do house and spot shows, and someone happened to have recorded it and shows up on Twitter or whatever social media, Cool. Once it left WWE network is when I stopped watching. I only watched for Solo and pretty deadly, once they lesve so am I

I don't think Grayson is being 100% in character with this tweet. I loved B&G when Sasha and Bayley were running it and a couple of years after, but by 2019 it just got way too damn indy. I also fell out of love with it when HHH refused to put the title on Bianca. It ran its course and needed a reboot, and now we'll see what this new version will be.

Rainbow NXT at least is/was building the stars of the future

It seems like it will be a fusion. I honestly believe it will be exactly what we have been getting this past year with just a slight makeover, i.e. the color scheme and the branding, i.e. removing the 2.0 and bringing back the Takeover name.

Not everyone needs a title run in NXT to be a star on the main roster. It was probably for the best Bianca didn't get her first title win until a WM. It made it everything that lead up to it more special that way.

That's revisionist history, Bianca was basically used as a stepping stone in NXT. Bianca is one of those cases where putting her on the main roster actually helped her career. There was no reason whatsoever for Bianca to lose to Rhea in NXT.

What's revisionist about it? It's the truth. Some just get better opportunities on the main roster and that's what happened with Bianca.

Becky never won a title in NXT and she arguably became the biggest female star they had at one point.
