Back in WCW it wasn't that the midcard outshone the main event scene as much as you knew the matches were always going to be better in the midcard while the main event was non-stop spectacle with Hogan and whatever the NWO were up to.
At least you wanted to see what would happen in the main event scene in WCW back then.
