Grayson was the one to make the "Hotdogs and handshakes" promo. I say there is no one better than him.
What better way than for him to destroy one of the cornerstones of the indy scene.

No doubt they are but here’s the thing, it made sense that Waller did it considering the gimmick he’s been playing as of late.
Plus the motherfukker fits the bill of a heel. a$$hole look with a grating voice. No other person would of gotten that type of heel heat on Johnny tonight.
Those other guys wouldn’t of benefitted from it considering the trajectory they are in over at NXT. Already they have been hyped as future stars.

I would not be suprised if Gargano made a suprise entrant at the Royal Rumble and go on to win it. Then challenge Roman Reigns for the belt at Wrestlemania, and take it off of him

It's still wait and see for me. They didn't do any of this or go out of their way to do this much for Adam Cole leaving.
This felt like a main roster call up to me. They've done plenty of the hugs after show for that.
If it isn't then oh well.
Cole was a heel when he left, which you don't get fond farewells as a heel.
